I'm Back! Sort Of....

Oh My WORD!!! What day is it?!? That's the sort of week I've had :)

We were evacuated from our home Sunday afternoon because of the rising water. We've been staying with Ben's parents with NO COMPUTER AND NO INTERNET. And yes, I know you're wondering how I have survived without blogging...the answer is sugar and carbohydrates and NO running...I have 10 extra pounds to prove it...no worrie, I show ya pics later, HA! :)

My tiny-town is more than devastated...I can't even go into it yet. I thought the tornado was bad...but now the entire town has flooded and I have no words...just a sick feeling in my stomach. Please pray the amazing people here.

We just had a few feet of water in our basement, which considering what so many others are going through, is simply not a big deal.

I have pics I'll post later...

I have missed you ALL!!! And thank you for the emails...how nice to be loved :) Can I call you my fan club?!? You're all amazing.

Couple last things....AB - totally praying for you girlie :) Jamie - that blog idea sounds fantastic, you'll have to fill me in more :)

Love,

me

  2. Sarah,
So happy to see a post...I was thinking today this is very unusual for you to go this long between posts and praying all was ok. So sorry to hear Tiny Town is enduring more loss. Know that I'm praying. Sure wish I could do more. Hang in there, my friend.
    Blessings,
    Tracy

  7. Oh, Sarah. I thought of you tonight when I watched the news, and wondered what was going on since we hadn't heard from you. I'm so happy that your house didn't have much damage aside from the water in the basement...and I'm praying for all those in Tiny Town who have been hit hard. Keep us updated!

  8. Just wanted to let you know that I am and have been praying for you and your family as well as others in the Tiny-town church there. So glad that God is in control.

Praying for you all as you reach out to others who have lost so much already....if not everything material-wise.

SO THANKFUL that there are not tornados or floods or earthquakes or volcanos or tsunamis or.... any other disasters like that in Heaven. Glad our heavenly Home is Secure in Jesus!!!!

  11. I am so glad you are back. On Monday I thought it was funny you didn't post. On Tuesday I figured you were busy helping tiny town. On Wednesday I figured out that you must have been evacuated.

I will continue to pray for tiny town and that you will all have the energy and God's wisdom as you face the next few weeks.

I'm going to email you the thing about the red shoes. I just remembered you asked me to. OOPS! I forgot.

    Glad you're back.
