Jesus Is Still Alright...

Yesterday I mentioned that my dc Talk dance moves frightened my children :)

It's Saturday, and I think my bloggy friends deserve a visual. No, I do not have a video of me. But trust me, this video is worth watching. I learned some of my (fabulous) moves from watching it over and over back in the day.

I also know every. single. word. I can dance, and rap on the treadmill...I am that talented.

I promise you a laugh...just watch...and visualize me "....kickin' it Jesus style..."

HA! Seriously, you owe me for this one. And I'll try not to talk about dc Talk again for awhile *wink*

  4. okay, listening to this I realized that the raps in the middle of this song....well, I helped my boyfriend memorize them .....way back when!! HE LOVED DC TALK! We listened to this album over and over.....but the college we attended DID NOT allow TV or dancing so we missed this wonderful video full of dance moves!
We were just thrilled they were starting to allow us to listen to Christian ROCK!

  6. Oh yeah! I remember this concert! It was so cool! My youth pastor was friends with one of their dancers. They went to Cornerstone together. Maybe I could get you a try out for the reunion tour! :)

  9. I just visited your site for the first time today and I have to say this made me laugh! My sister and I used to (used to?...still do!) love DC Talk and we had some video tape of theirs which we watched over and over and tried to do all the dance moves! I think it was even before this video. She just called me recently to say she was listening to them on her ipod! My first DC Talk "album" was their original cassette tape which I can't even find on their listings anymore! It had Valet Beat on it - have a clue what I'm talking about?! :)
Anyway - lots of DC Talk memories. I like the way you write. I'll be visiting your site again.

  16. Heehee, this is a blast in the past! Love it! Watching the video, I realized I still remember most of the words! They looked like they were having fun! The youth in my church hadn't heard of DC Talk but now I got them hooked on the Jesus Freak album! The music is timeless, in my opinion!
