*Insert Eye Roll*

Last night after Bible Club I came home and plopped myself on the couch...it's a routine I have going.

Flipped through the DVR and channels and...nothing. Bummer. So I resorted to the Guide menu to see if anything would be coming on soon...nothing, nothing...and THEN I found it.

It read: Victoria Secret Fashion Show
9-10 PM
PG-13

*Insert eye roll* I had to laugh...out loud. Because THIRTEEN is the precise age that I WOULD NOT want my new-to-testosterone-crazed boy or feeling-completely-awkward & insecure daughter to watch the Victoria Secret fashion show.

For real.

I think it should read: Victoria Secret Fashion Show
9-10 PM
Ages 2 and under.

Just a thought ;)

  1. Funny! ABC Family is supposed to have a Christmas show/movie on every night until 12/25, and last night it was Cars - NOT a Christmas movie! I didn't get to relax by the glow of the TV either.

  2. You are too funny!

I'm baffled that they can actually show that on TV. It seems like it would be WAY too risque.

  3. LOL...I totally agree. Having teenage boys, I have to now make sure that I get the mail first because of the victoria's secret catalogs that keep getting sent to me though I keep taking my name off the list.....

  8. I agree! Babies are naturally used to seeing those body parts, anyway.

  9. Oh, my son would be drooling...oh, wait...he's always drooling. It would be like Wimpy at a BurgerFest.

  11. when my almost-two year old sees anyone who is not wearing much- she says, "BATH. bath."

so she would have definitely fit the "2 and under" rule, but she would have thought they were all about to take a bath!!

  12. Yes, I'd keep away the thirteen year olds.

  14. My DH won't even watch the commercials - cause he's cool like that - only wants eyes for me! I must add, he does not mind me shopping at Vickie's.

    Maybe a pay-per-view channel??

  15. I recently read VS was "cleaning up" their act, due to so many complaints. I guess they are back to having the models actually WEAR the underwear, rather than having nude models do their advertising. I never did get the nude with "angel wings" as incentive to to buy something to "cover up...."

  16. That's hillarious and I agree! :)

  17. SO true!
I'm running for the remote the minute the ads come on. I can't imagine how uncomfortable I'd feel watching the fashion show. And I've gotten to were I don't even like walking by their stores with thier bigger than life posters hangin' in the windows.

  19. Why would I ever want to watch anything that would make me feel even more insecure about my body? Stupid. Why don't they just put this on the Spice channel or something? (not that I know if that's the actual name of a channel of that sort, but you get my drift)
