Rascals...

Here's the same two little guys that pulled this shenanigan the other day.

Cute aren't they. Stinkin' cute, if ya ask me.

They crack me up, because they are the best of friends or bickering like crazy...kinda like pretend brothers...kinda like 3 year olds.

Last week the Schwan's guy came to the door and I let him step inside to the living room. Jake started to cry, claiming that the Schwan's man had stepped on his barefoot. While I assured Jake he was fine because I didn't really think the Schwans guy had stepped on his foot, James marched over and stomped on the Schwans guys steel-toed black boots...it's a three year old's version of I got your back.

The Schwans guy and I just looked at each other and chuckled. Little rascals.

Isn't funny that we laugh when it's someone else's kids that do this stuff, but we'd like to strangle our own!! hahaha

  6. just so you know, if the schwan's man ever steps on your toe... I will demand free cookie dough in return for your pain and suffering! that is the kind of friend I am.
if the fed ex guy steps on your toe... I will punch him..... okay, I could NEVER punch him.... I would have to demand he take you out to dinner or something! *smile*

  12. I think I'll just start telling new friends, "Hey, I like you so much, I'd totally stomp on someone's foot for you."

    Cutest thing ever.

  13. Hi Sara, I'm new to your blog and I love the title. I grew up in a parsonage as the "pk" and then I eventually married a pastor. It is surely a journey...I'm glad there are other "sisters" out there that are walking the same "pastor's wife" path...look forward to reading! Feel free to stop by my blog anytime also (in your free time of course..he he)

  15. Hi Sarah! Thanks for the note - It's always fun to find others in the ministry! I stumbled across your blog a couple of days ago - and just couldn't stop laughing! I REALLY relate to your post about the dentist! LOL And your stories about your kids are adorable! I even told my husand that he should read your posts about being a pastor's wife. I'm a youth director (that does the job of an associate pastor at times) - so my hubby could totally relate! Thanks for being a bright spot in my day! :)
