We Go Out...

Ben and I had the lovely opportunity to attend a beautiful wedding not long ago.  We got dressed up and then left all the kids in the care of Grandma and Grandpa, which means we actually enjoyed the wedding.

Fun times.

After the wedding, when I looked at these pictures, I realized I had totally skipped my eyeliner and mascara.  Whoops.  I guess it meant that nothing smeared all over my face after I cried watching my two sweet little nephews walk down the aisle as the ring bearers.  Seriously, they were so sweet I bawled.  I'm not the only one that does that?  Right?

One of the songs in the wedding was Brandon Heath's, Love Never Fails.  So now it's at the top of my playlist because it's one of my new favorites.  Even though it's not new at all.

I love weddings.  And the bride and groom were beautiful and handsome but you'll have to take my word for it because I forgot my camera.  Loser.

  1. Your nephews are sweet and so are mine. :) I was probably completely beaming as they were walking down the aisle. It was the bride and Dad walking down that brought tears for me. :)

Those songs from the wedding I have been listening to consistently for the past two weeks. So beautiful!

And you and Ben looked quite debonair yourselves.

  2. Wow! Beautiful pics...wish I could pull of no mascara. I don't wear eyeliner, but probably should. How fortunate to have family close by so you can enjoy yourselves knowing your children are being well cared for. I'm sure the grandparents are thankful as well for those memory making opportunities with their grandchildren.

  3. I wish I could look as good as you did with no mascara and eyeliner. Lucky you pretty lady. How nice that you and the hubby got a date night. Our kids are pretty much grown and we still never manage to fit it in. We have to work on that. LOL

  4. Those two little guys are so sweet - I may be just a wee bit biased :) And I loved the wedding songs (again, maybe a wee biased) -- Lance's sister has an amazing voice and it was perfect for that song.
